Work began by bailing water from the trench and removing tarps. Once this was done, it was clear that the trench is too wet to excavate and likely will be for the remainder of the season. Therefore, closing elevations were taken for all loci.

Once closing elevations were taken, mud created by rain was scraped away, in preparation for closing photos. Once the trench was scraped, closing photos were taken for all open loci and Loci 4 , 5 , 6 , and 7 were closed.
Work ended at noon due to rain.
