A third cut was begun in J-K/80-81. Soil in these meters was a crumbly light brown. Very little tile or plaster came out of this area. As we worked eastward however, in J/82, the soil became moist and darker brown. Tile became abundant in these meters as well. J/82-85 turned up almost one cassetta. Almost no plaster was found and only 1/4 of a latte box of pottery.
The tile fall in L-M/82-85 was cleaned farther. Large quantities of plaster were found sitting on top of tiles. A few fragments of ivory were found in L/83. Bronze came out of L/84.
J-K/80-81 at 30-40cm from norther baulk is full of rather large stones. This is particular and true in J/80-81. A 4th cut in these meters was begun. Soil is predictabley crumbly light brown. Little tile was found. One possible crucible fragment was found in K/81. Depth is roughly 40-50 cm below the northern baulk.
