Work was continued in the northern and centre section sections of trench 2-<f. In the cenre section, below the layer of yellow clay, dark soil again appeared (Yellow clay at .40m, dark soil at about .50). Scattered pottery, tile, and bone found in the section down to .50m.

In the northern section also scattered pottery, tile, and bone was found. A small fluted spindle whorl in good condition,

was found at a depth of .40m, 1.30m from the north end of the trench and 1.40m from the east side (find 1).
