June 30, 1970

With the help of the architect a new trench (T1) was laid out, measuring 3,00 m N-S and 2,00 W-E.  Trees and bushed were removed and work started with three workmen.  The topsoil, which was filled with small stones, was removed and after that three more layers.  Those gave two boxes of tiles, that were damaged, about half a box of pottery among which were several rims and bases and a few bones.  In the S-E corner at a depthj of about 40 cm a buchero andle with a human figure was found.
