Excavation of the area of black earth continued and continued to produce charcoal, bones, and pieces of pottery. A plastic bag of charcoal was collected for analysis.

Isolated bones of large animals were found including leg and shoulder bones. In grid square D3 were found pieces of a bronze chain (longest fragment 7 cm.) which was sent to Florence for restoration, and a bronze pin. In C3 and spindle whorl (find #1). Under the area of black earth was found a layer of small and medium sized stones.
