Complex 2 was photographed this morning. After photographing (see following pages) stones were taken up in trenches 2A - west and 2C.
Work continued in trench 2F. A piece of banquet frieze, the left side, top, was found at a depth of 0.97m in the east side of the trench (0.20m from the east) and 5.27m from the north end (Find # 2).
A terracotta head, well-preserved, was found at a depth of 0.78m, 1.73m from the west wall of the trench and 4.45m from the north end (Find # 3).

Another terracotta head, badly worn and cracked, was found at a depth of 0.70m, 4.12m from the north end, and 1.70m from the west side (Find # 4). Besides this, a piece of "campstool" frieze was found, preserving the upper part of a bearded figures and studs and cavetto molding above (no find #).
Soil below the stones in trench 2C and in the center of trench 2E was excavated. Several small architectural fragments were found, a few hits of pottery, and three fruit boxes of tile.
