Vitrified Terracotta Summary

The majority of vitrified terracotta was recovered from Locus 8 , with trace amounts also having been revealed in Loci 3 , 6 , and 10 . A fragment from the baulk trim was found to join with another fragment from Locus 8 .

The absence of identifiable architecture throughout the course of excavation suggests that the presence of vitrified terracotta in CB-61 is due to erosional runoff from CA and the Piano del Tesoro.
