T-96 is a 4m x 4m trench. The trench was laid out using triangulation off the E/W and N/S baselines shot with the transit. The coordinates of the trench are as follows:
NE corner: 142m East, 92m South SE corner: 142m East, 96m South SW corner: 138m East, 96m South NW corner: 138m East, 92m South
A datum point with an absolute elevation of 24.97 meters on the master grid has been established on a tree to the east of the trench (inside T-97).
