AM Warm, Sunny
The morning began with continued pick passes in Locus 6 to bring the elevation down to the level of the rest of the trench. While clearing the first pick pass, tile, pottery, bone, and scattered pieces of charcoal were found. Additionally, a piece of unusual terracotta (Find #1), and a possibly modified piece of bone was found as well (Find #2).

Pick passes continued heading westward as the morning progressed, and another piece of unusual terracotta was uncovered (Find #3).

Once the trench was roughly brought down to a consistent level, work began with hand picks and trowels throughout the trench to bring down the higher areas. Another goal of this was to further define the rock feature. Smaller amounts of tile and pottery are being found during this defining. As this continued, a unique pottery handle was found (Find #4).

The afternoon started by continuing to define the rock feature and leveling/cleaning the unit. Following this, baulk walling commenced. During this work, an unusually large piece of bone was found in the Locus 6 Baulk (Find #5). The remainder of the bone is in situ.

As cleaning continued, a large piece of vitrified terracotta was found in the baulk wall (Find #6).
