Becasue of the previous day's rain it was too wet to continue excavation of the area begun on Wednesday. Therefore excavation was extended one metre to the north and during the day excavation of the area B-H 25-27 was completed.

Five boxes of tiles were dumped from the day's excavation.
The same description could be given for this area as for the preceding one (B-H, 23-24 page 133 - 135 ). The "ditch" flanked by two outcrops of bedrock, in this case the more easterly of which being covered in places by yellow earth. The concentration of architectural terracottas continued to centre on the area of the grid columns E and F.
