Mesti work cont in meters L-M-N/63-64. Tile frags & plaster are becoming less prevalent but the dark plastery burn matrix continues. The tiles ^ rock in these meters were photographed and apprx 1/4 cassette of frags wre lifter. 1/2 latte box of pottery was recovered. Finds included incised bucchero, some small seeds and a possible piece od ivory or worked bone. The level of the floor in these meters averages 140 cm bd.

Mesti work continued in K-L/63-64 at a dept of ~130 cm bd The conditions were the same as those recorded for the AM. 3/4 latte box of pottery & bone was recovered & several frags (~1/3 cassette) of tile were lifted. The only find was an ivory petal inlay.
Work began in M/69-70 again levelling these meters to 138 cm bd. The soil in M/.70 was very dark grey in comparison with the surrounding areas. Meter M/69 was dark brown soil w/ a fair amount of small pieces of pottery. A heavy concentration of animal bones continued to be found. 1 latte of both pottery and bones was recovered. There were no finds from these meters.
