The eastern end of the T26 was cleared of brush in preparation for excavation. Areas of fill from 1987 season over the southeast building's column bases were cleared so that the column bases could be used as reference points in re-establishing the grid system for the trench. Preliminary picchetti were set up within the grid for adjustment and completion tomorrow.
A piece of stamped bucchero was found in the 1987 fill. Small pieces of tile, plaster, and potery were also found.
