A 15 cm cut was initiated in meter V/54 which took the cut to 90 cm below the fixed point. A burn layer was encountered immediately. The soil was dark with a high concentration of inclusions including plaster, large pieces of carbonized material, burned pottery, and some pebbles. Approximately 1/4 of a latte box of pottery was found, and only 6 pieces of tile and plaster fragments.

The soil changed and burn layer phased out as the cut moved east toward V/55. The soil here retained the lighter olive grey with pockets of yellow/orange schyst.

Work was cut short and the meter left unfinished due to rain.
