The pick-pass that was started yesterday was completed across the whole trench. The trench was lowered approximately 5 cm. Another pick-pass was started commencing from the northwest corner.

1. Locus 1 45.57-E/55.58-S 25.78 m. above absolute elevation (67 cm. below datum point) Frieze plaque fragment
The second pick-pass was completed. The entire trench has been lowered appoximately 10 cm. in total. Approximately 3 bowls of well-worn terracotta fragments were recovered along with 7 sherds of pottery. A fragment of a frieze plaque was found ( ). The soil removed was dark-brown with many stones, most of them fist-size or smaller.
