T-23 Summary: The 90 cm cut was extended through D/11-12 and into AA/11-12.

The 90 cm cut was extended through D/11-12. The soil of this area was orange-light with carbon and tile from 60-75 cm. From 75-85 cm, there was a dark gray layer with carbon right below the orange-light layer. Below this dark gray layer, there was light yellow
clay-like soil. A concentration of stones was uncovered at 90 cm, at the present floor level, in C/11 and left in place. They appear to be small and probably unrelated to each other, but further excavation will answer the question of their nature.
The 90 cm cut was also extended SW into AA/11-12. Throughout the cut here, yellow or brown gray soil was encountered which was devoid of interesting finds but did contain pottery, one piece of which was painted.
A concentration of small stones was uncovered at 90 cm in meter D/12 and left in place. These stones are similar to those in meter C/11.
Note the concentration of terracotta eggs in AA/12.

T-23 Summary: The 90 cm cut in D/11-12 was completed. The 90 cm cut was continued in AA/11-12.

The 90 cm cut was completed in D/11-12. In D/12, there was a heavy concentration of tile. At the floor level, 90 cm, the layer of rocks continued to D/12 and D/11 and was left and cleaned down. The cut was continued to AA/11-12.
The rock layer was in the dark gray layer or right below it.
