Continued cut in trench Ag9BT moving to the east in meters E125-128, S20-21. In meters E126-127, S20-21 a stone concentration of large, flat stones was uncovered. The depth of these stones was recorded as 65-70 cm.b.d. The stone formation was defined and cleaned for photography. The soil above the stone formation was yellowish-brown with flecks of carbon, small stones, plaster, and ceramic. It maintained the designation locus 1. The stone formation was designated locus 2.
The southern baulk of trench Ag9BT
was trimmed to obtain sectional information. In this work 20 small worn pieces of terracotta and 4 fragments of bone were recovered. The ceramic found in the baulk totaled 23 fragments: 1 orangeware, 3 coarseware, 5 impasto and 14 small fragments of bucchero. In the baulk high concentration of carbon was also noted.

Continued cut westward into meters E125, S20-21 in order to obtain sectional information about the stone formation in trench Ag9BT. The soil was yellowish-brown with a medium concentration of carbon and small to medium size stones. The area was leveled to an approximate depth of 80-85 cm.b.d. Within these meters several more stones were uncovered and appeared to be a portion of a bedrock layer. These stones were designated locus 2, with the stones of the formation in meters E126-127, S20-21. From this locus 10 worn fragments of terracotta, 1 bone fragment, and 5 pieces of ceramic were recovered.
The soil above the stone remained consistent with that designated locus 1. From this soil 1 cassetta bottom was filled with terracotta, including 2 large fragments (15-17 cm), 1 bone fragment, 1 bucchero fragment, 2 orangeware fragments, 6 impasto and 11 pieces of coarseware were recovered.
