Conclusions (Addendum)

The reconstruction of hte N-S walls in grids K-O/37 and J-O/43 of the 3-roomed building within T-19 reveal, quite simply, two important features concerning this area.

1)  The pottery discovered beneath the horizontal plane of the foundation walls pre-dates the construction of the building itself, and is not a fill contemporaneous with it.  This is, of course, shown by pottery found directly underneath the walls which joins pieces previously discovered within the confines of the building ( Find #3, p. 223 , 19770048 c, which joins 19770048 a and b found in Grid K/40 - GW V, p. 15 ) or which compares exactly to these pieces.

2)  Additional excavation in this area for the possibility of further walls below the foundations of the 3-roomed building, one running E-W encompassing K-L/43-47 and the other N-S, I-L/43-44 (see drawing on and 243 .  Also see p. 230-231 , where K/44-47 is described as "terracing packing.")

Storage:

a.  One small bag of bones, labeled "T-10 under the walls."

b.  One small bag of selective pottery fragments, labeled and placed in Box 5.

c.  Uncatalogued finds placed in box 5.
