Very little pottery was recovered from T-71. All pottery came from Loci 1 and 2 ; Locus 3 was unexcavated and Locus 4 was sterile, but for a single terracotta roofing tile fragment that was found at the top of the locus, beneath a root.

By far the most pottery came from Locus 2 , even though not much pottery was recovered from this locus. From Locus 2 , there were 136 sherds of pottery, or 82% of the trench's pottery assemblage. Over half of all pottery found in this locus was impasto, while fine impasto was also relatively common. There were roughly equal quantities of coarseware and bucchero found in this locus. All pottery from Locus 2 was ancient in date, indicating that this was a contextually secure locus, although no chronologically diagnostic ceramics were found.

In Locus 1 , we recovered 29 sherds of pottery, or 18% of the entire ceramic assemblage from T-71. These ceramics included ancient and medieval sherds, indicating that this was not a contextually secure deposit. Nearly 60% of all pottery recovered from this locus was impasto, while there were roughly equal quantities of medieval pottery, coarseware, and fine impasto; no bucchero was found in this locus.

No chronologically diagnostic sherds were recovered from T-71.
