This morning T101 was prepped for closing photos. While surveying the trench, a large piece of architectural terracotta was found in-situ, and it was decided to remove it. Before removal, the terracotta will be detailed and photographed in-situ for structural documentation since the terracotta was found below the underside of the pipe. While defining, many more fragments of potential architectural terracotta were found which will also be defined and photographed. Once the photograph was taken, the removal of the above mentioned piece began. The other fragments will remain in-situ as they are all stacked and heavily compacted and much more invasive excavation is needed to remove them.
