CA 24
Excavation of the area B-H, 23-24 was concluded.
Finds included:
- Find # 3
- F23
- horserace frieze fragment
- Find # 5
- F23
- campstool frieze fragment
Six boxes of tiles were dumped from this two metre cut.
The main characteristics of this two metre cut were the "ditch" including squares 23-24, E, F, G and the two outcrops of bedrock which bound the ditch on the east and west. The areas in columns E and F were most productive of architecural terracottas with fewer fragments being found the farther
one went from this area.
