Opened Locus 9. Compact, yellow soil in same meter as Locus 8. Only 4 large rocks were uncovered, roughly in line with the supposed "wall". We went down almost to the level of the previous trenches, but did not have time to flatten it out.
A large amount of pottery and bone were found, more than in any other 2m section. Not much t erracotta, relatively speaking.
Terracotta:1/6 cassette
Pottery: 2 latte boxes
Bone: 1/4 latte box
