Work continued in the northern section of trench 2F, and in the earth below the stones in 2A, 2C, and 2E.

In trench 2F, a rectangular stone with a rounded top was found at a depth of 0.80m, 3.20m from the north, and 1.70m from the west (Find # 5).

A gorgon head, in poor condition and broken in excavation was found in trench 2E, at a depth of 1.10m, 2.32m from the north end, and 0.80m from the west side (Find # 23).

A rocchetto, in good condition, was found (2E) at a depth of 1.12m, 1.790m from the north end of the trench,

and 0.75m from the west side (Find # 24).

A section of raking sima, preserving the cavetto molding and most of the running dog, and the right edge, was found at a depth of 1.20m, 1.60m from the north end, and 1.30m from the west side (Find # 25).

During the morning, other architectural fragments were found, too small to be listed as finds. These consisted of:

In trench 2A, the lower right corner of a "campstool" frieze, well-preserved, and two fragments of cornice.

In trench 2C, part of the top of a procession frieze, preserving the umbrella and part of the cornice, and

two fragments of cornice.

In trench 2E, three fragments of banquet frieze, two of lateral sima, and one of raking sima.

In trench 2F, a small piece of banquet frieze, and an upper left corner of horserace frieze, preserving the trophy, and part of the cavetto molding.

A section of horserace frieze, the right side, from guilloche to cornice, with all of the first horse and part of the second preserved, was found at a depth of 1.16m, 0.90m from the north end of the trench, and 0.81m from the west side (Find # 26).

Several more architectural fragments were found in trenches 2A and 2C. Work was completed in trench 2F.
