Work continued in T-26 east.

P.M.

A 20cm cut was begun in meters H-I/68-70, extending the depth of the trench in these meters to 140 to 160cm.  The soil in meter H/68 and the northern half of meter H/69 consisted of galestra and contained no material.  The soil in the southern half of meter H/69 and in meters H-I/70-71 was dark brown and also contained a large amount of small chunks of yellow and orange plaster.  One half cassetta of tile, including some plaster, and one quarter box of mixed pottery were discovered.  Work was stopped at mid afternoon due to rain.
