The cut in C-D/68-70 was extended to a depth of ca. 80-85 cm. At a depth of ca. 75-80cm the layer of yellow "plaster" soil encountered previously in meter C/68 began to extend south into meter D/68 and east into meters C-D/69. This yellow soil is very loose in consistency, contains only a few small rocks and is somposed of heavy concentrations of finely disintegrated yellow and white plaster. A few small, but well preserved fragments of tile and two pieces of bronze were discovered in the yellow "plaster" layer.
The soil in mteters C-D/70 and the southern half od meter D/69 was dark brown in color and contained a large amount of small rocks. This dark brown soil gradually became very clay-like in substance towards the bottom of
the cut at a depth of ca. 80-85cm. Three quarters of a cassetta of small fragements of worn tile and a few pieces of coarse pottery were found in the dark brown soil.
