Agger 2

Section C The tiles, unlike agger 1 and agger 2A, were several layers deep. 47 boxes of tiles were lifted. Found: 3 fragments of horserace frieze (19680897;19680955), 4 cornice fragments, small piece of bronze, and part of an animal's leg broken on both ends.

Section D Fill continued to be removed. 3 boxes of tiles. Found: 2 cavetto fragments, fragments of a ridgepole tile, rosette, and waterspout (19680799).
