Began work in meters S25-26 E138-139 lowering and leveling the trench floor to come down on the projected whitish flooring layer (Locus 11) as seen on the section (pg. 40).  An area of white soil was exposed in the S26 E139 and expanding slightly into the meters to the north and west at approximately 74-75 cm.b.d., however it does not seem to run uninterrupted throughout the areas exposed currently, although there are several smaller areas of the same white soil in S25 E138, but at a slightly lower level 76-77 cm.b.d.  Work in these meters will be continued in the afternoon, and pottery and plaster/tile quantities will be recovered then.

Continued leveling in the northeast corner of the trench, in meter S25 E139, where there were several small stones (10-15 cm.).  The carbon, Locus 10, soil continued in this area, and the white soil, Locus 11, possible floor, does not seem to continue in this area at the current level.  Work was also expanded to the west into meters S25-26 E137, lowering the area.  The approximate level of these meters S25-26 E137-139 is 74-76 cm.b.d.  As yet the white soil is limited to S26 E139.

1/5 of a latte of pottery and bone were recovered from S25-26 E139 with 22-23 fragments of plaster and tile- mainly plaster.  From S25-26 E138, 2/3 of a latte of pottery and bone and 7 small fragments of tile were recovered.  Meters S25-26 E137 produced 1/6 of a latte of pottery and bone, 4 fragments of tile and 3 fragments of plaster.
