Work was continued on the removal of the second layer of the area B-H, 5-8.
Found:

- two oddly shaped fragments (like cover tile with break from something attached)
An area of burned and blackened earth extending through grid squares B, 6-8 produced small sherds of burned pottery, bones, and pieces of iron slag (?).
Five boxes of tiles were dumped during the morning.
