Continued cleaning and consolidating the following:

  1. Left scapula - very fragile and ready to break, therefore cannot clean off the dirt.
  2. Left zygomatic bone - very fragile, orbital border. Had to treat with PVA emulsion (15% in vol.) as an edge was about to break off. Left to dry.

Identifiable features:

Zygomatic bone (left)

  1. orbital border
  2. zygomatico-facial feramer
  3. sientospheroid process
  4. infra-orbital process
  5. tenperal process
  6. maxillary process

Clavicle - posterior and anterior surface

Frontal (right side)

  1. supraorbital border
  2. ? tiny notch (or feramer)
  3. frontal sinus

Decided to consult with E.N. regarding the glue problem. Without a good glue, the delicate pieces cannot be joined as it is impossible to apply pressure or to hold them for 20-30 minutes.

P.M.

It has been decided that I am to have another tube of Karlsons Kirster for gluing.

Clavicle (left)

  1. Glued one piece - let dry.
  2. In cleaning the interior, a tiny piece broke off and had to be glued on. The piece seems to be too fragile to clean with alcohol as the PVA (joining the pieces) seems to disintegrate.

Removal of more frontal bone:

  1. Cleaned piece with alcohol
  2. Interior surface and edges are very delicate - many small cracks - necessary to consolidate with the PVA emulsion (15% in vol.)
