Organics Summary:
In the 2022 season, seven soil samples were taken from T101 for flotation and organic analysis. Samples were collected from contexts which were both secure and deemed significant and/or sensitive by their qualities and/or stratigraphy (e.g., wall collapse, floor surfaces, deposits infilling cuts, etc.). Three of these samples were floated and initially processed; further analysis will be done on them before the 2023 season offsite by F. Schmidt. To that end, each of these samples was cataloged. Cataloged sediment samples from T101 in 2022 include: PC20220102, PC20220106, and PC20220108. The remaining unfloated samples will be processed in 2023.
