Troweling continued north through stone feature removing rocks, sorting, and clearing dirt. Soil consistent with Locus 2 . Soil to the east of the rock formation cleared up to stone feature but not into. Soil sorted and cleared, consistent with Locus 2 . Material sparing, a few small extremely worn pieces of terra cotta in stone packing.

Continued troweling through last 10cm of rock feature. Soil remained consistent with Locus 2 , medium brown with mottling of yellow around roots. Rocks removed 4-6cm in size. Soil sorted and cleared. No carbon inclusions in this soil like in southern half. Cleaning done north of the feature to level trench, but not into the feature.

Rock feature completely removed to trench level. Dirt sorted and cleared. Soil type consistent all the way through feature as Locus 2 soil. One piece pottery found at the northern most end, otherwise sparing

material as noted earlier, only terra cotta. Soil sample taken of fresh soil from middle of the rock feature, 28.46m A.E. Sample bagged, tagged, taken to Magazino.
