Began work by opening locus 1 . Coordinates and elevations were taken for the points of Locus 1 . Opening photographs were taken. Locus 1 is a dark grey brown that is granular to the touch. It contains many small to medium sized rocks ranging from 10-20 cm across. Locus 1 also contains pottery bone terracotta and inclusions of carbon. Troweling began in locus 1 in order to loosen and remove the rocks at the surface. A pick pass was then done in Locus 1 . The soil was sorted in the trench into buckets. Bone and pottery were sorted into separate containers.

A pick pass was done of
locus 1
.
Special find #1 was found, a full profile dish in 3 fragments.
After the dirt from the first pick pass was sorted, another pick pass was performed and yielded special find #2, an impressed rim fragment.
Work began in Locus 2 with a pick. Locus 2 has yielded a few fragments of pottery. A piece of painted pottery was discovered special find #6.
A third pick pass was done in locus 1 which turned up an unusual piece of terracotta. In is special find #7. Also found two pieces of cut bone (special finds #8 and #9) as well as a piece of pottery with possible incised Xs (special find #10).
Work continued in Locus 2 . A small amount of pottery is still being uncovered. The pottery is coming up from in between large rocks.
In the fourth pick pass in Locus 1 , less of the small and medium sized rocks are being revealed.
