The area to be excavated was laid out forming a trench approx. 3 m. X 3 m. Organic material and loose stones were removed from the area readying it for excavation. The survey of the grid co-ordinates place the south dimension of the co-ordinates approx. 20 cm. north of the previous year's preliminary survey.
