Bone Summary
Summaries for 2004 Excavation Season
Bone Summary
The bones found in T-36 during the 2004 season were largely unworked and showed few, if any, signs of butchery. The one exception was a small piece of possibly worked ivory ( Find #1, p.25 ) recovered early on in Locus 1.
Small amounts of bone were found early on in the upper loci. A significant imcrease occured in Locus 3, the Archaic destruction layer, and again in Locus 4, the post-Orientalizing scrape.
Locus 4 remains open at the end of the 2004 season.
