Remarks on collection strategies or artifacts Low diversity in assemblage. Waste flakes only frequent in TU-B. Pottery most abundant in TU-A. Faunal bone abundant in all units.
Comments (Primarily temporal or functional interpretations)
  • Site is principally aceramic, Mount Taylor with localized St. Johns period component at southern end. Site appears to be a campsite, likely intermittent or short term based on density of artifacts.
  • Mount Taylor, Orange, and St. Johns I components were observed and it is suspected that some St. Johns Plain and Orange pottery are contemporary.
