Description Locus 3 was a yellow claylike soil with white inclusions that seems to be associated with deteriorating rock. There was very little terra cotta, pottery, and bone in this Locus. The soil was loosely packed. Little terra cotta, pottery, and bone were recovered from this Locus. On average, this Locus was 20cm deep. A 3x1m sounding was dug into the soil to determine its extent, but bedrock was hit and no material was recovered in the sounding. The sounding was on average 20cm deep.
