Condition Restored from five fragments; surfaces are cracked, porous, and distorted in color due to vitrification. There are numerous inclusions visible throughout the fabric, and fresh chips and breaks are due to damage from modern tools used in excavation.
Fabric Description Terracotta
Munsell Color 10YR 5/2 grayish brown, GLEY1 5/10Y greenish gray
Description Terracotta fragment, probably from a pan tile, preserves portion of one flat finished upper surface, now cracking from vitrification, and a more pocked bottom surface. The terracotta is very light weight and the biscuit is now dusky gray and porous due to burning.
