Description Locus 12, like Locus 10, was a sounding trench excavated in order to determine if there was any iron-age activity in the Tesoro area. The soil was identical to Locus 10; it was a greenish-gray and sandy soil and little material was found in it. No iron-age material was recovered. After excavating approximately 20cm, galestra was reached and the trench was closed.
