Description | Locus 4 is a sandier and ligher brown soil found below locus 3. It has much worn tile and pottery, but not as heavily abraded as the previous loci. There were many loose patches of soil throughout this locus but none with clear and defineable borders. This locus is dateable to the archaic period from a piece of Frieze plaque cavetto fragment (20120205). Work for the season stopped before it was fully excavated. The closing elevations listed here are simply where excavations stopped this season. |
