Condition Restored from two fragments. All surfaces are heavily encrusted, pitted, and worn; numerous inclusions. Fabric seems light and is distorted in color, probably due to burning and/or light vitrification. Two additional small fragments are associated, but do not join.
Description A rim fragment of a forno preserves a flattened, squared rim with a shallow, worn gouge diagonally across the center. The fragment decreases in thickness and becomes slighly convex approximately 0.023 m below the top of the rim.
