The morning began with work continuing in the ca. 1 meter area between Locus 4 and Locus 2 that is a part of Locus 3 . A pickpass was done between the corner of Locus 2 in the first 50cm of the previously unexcavated strip of Locus 3 . In the pickpass a large rock was found on the border of Locus 4 and 3 . Additionally 2 more rocks were found in the duration of the pickpass. It was decided to stop picking with the large picks and continue with handpicks in the area of the large rock and for an additional 30cm to the east. The rock was revealed to be large in size and to be adjacent to 4 other rocks. It appears that the rocks may reach those in the linear rock feature of Locus 2 . Rocks are being defined using handpicks and trowels and brushed off.
Excavation was paused due to rain.
