Description This SU again has sandy soil, yellowish-brown and is quite loose (though slightly sandier and grittier than 7113). Context material consists of more debris: frags of annex floor, lots of mortar/plaster, some small sandstone (4-6cm), very little tile, and some glass. SU closed when we came down on obvious floor.

7114_f1, floor: the floor is well preserved across the whole SU with only 2 exceptions. One is a small area (3x3 cm), perhaps disturbed by vegetation some, while the other is in the NE most corner of the SU where a pile of large rocks might be the culprit (10-15cm). The floor is simple tamped dirt with a lime wash poured atop it. It is quite firm and there is debris context material visible in it (ceramics, mortar, plaster). The floor extends to both 7112_f1 and the south wall of the annex, indicating quite clearly that both wlalls were in use in some capacity when this floor and its space were in use. Neither wall cuts this floor—this is very clear—the floor rather runs up onto the walls.
