Condition Fragment is conserved from two pieces and broken on all sides. Convex surface is scratched and worn. Concave surface is worn, chipped, and discolored.
Description Bucchero fragment preserves a decorated convex side and an unfinished concave side. A lightly incised ridge approximately 0.004 m in width runs laterally across the convex side. Surmounting the ridge is a roughly semi-circular fan decoration comprised of finely stippled dots. Each ray of the fan has approximately 12 dots and is at maximum 0.018 m in length. At the height of the arc of the fan pattern, a portion of the fragment is not preserved due to use of modern tools during excavation. Wheel marks are visible on the concave surface.
