Condition Badly chipped. Joined from 12 pieces. Missing: left corner cornice and upper part of frieze; large section in center of plaque from 0.090 m from base to top; also skirt to base of "Minerva" figure.
Description Refer to 19670290. Plaque joined from two 1968 sections (left half of frieze and right end with heads of next three figures behind "Jupiter" figure) and two 1969 fragments: skirt and lower half of stool of "Juno" figure (T7); and skirt of attendant "Iris" figure. Missing: left corner cornice and hair of "Mercury" figure, head and knees of "Prosperina" figure, torso and legs of stool of "death-god" figure, upper part of stool and all of body of "Ceres" figure, except for trace of back, lower half of skirt, portion of foot and complete footrest, and skirt from waist down of "Minerva" figure. Guilloche at base. Sixteen studs preserved.
Fabric Description Terracotta; medium grain with numerous bits of white stone and mica. Fired pinkish-buff, orange; T7 piece ("Juno" figure skirt and stool) fired darker orange with surface black. Traces of red paint in center section of guilloche.
