| Description |
Sediment sample T92-3-64 had an original volume of 27.5 litres and was recovered in 2018. It derives from trench/area T92, locus 3. The sample was floated in 2018, details on its content can only be assessed in the future. The heavy fraction was likewise sorted in 2018. It was divided into a >6mm, >3mm, and >1mm fraction. Of the >6mm and >3mm fraction 100% were sorted, the >1mm fraction was not sorted, as it was poor in finds. Variety of arte- and geofacts was low. In both the >6mm and >3mm fraction bone, pottery/terracotta, slags, and hammerscale were found and entirely recovered. |
