Description | Fragment of free standing funnel flares at the top and preserves a complete, U-shaped spout. A substantial length of the tube is preserved, including a raised ridge 0.330 m below the upper break edge. The bottom of the tube is broken at a diagonal. The exterior surfaces are covered in painted red and white decoration, including the outlining of the attachment of the spout and the spout's edges in white, along with additional linear designs. The tube is decorated with three horizontal white bands at the top, then a broad register with Xs, then additional horizontal bands and portions of more Xs beneath the ridge, all on a dusky red background. |
