Description | Ivory standing woman in profile showing the left side; back is smooth and flat, front is rounded or three-dimensional; preserves traces of a rectangular base; the long skirt from the narrowed waist down is hemi-sherical in cross section; at the bottom in front it slopes away to the right showing traces of projecting feet; the slope of the skirt is articulated by an incised groove following the edge of the hem; the upper torso is roundish in shape and preserves the upper part of the left arm which is slightly raised and held out; on top of her left shoulder is preserved a right hand and wrist (possibly that of 19710681 or less possibly her own?); a bracelet is indicated on her upper left arm by two horizantal incised lines; the head is missing but traces of the long, wavy treses are visible down the back and in front of the chest; the chest also preserves a curved groove near the neck indicating the top of the garment |
