Description Locus 2 is characterized by a light medium brown, claylike soil throughout the trench. More terracotta, as well as stone was recovered throughout the trench in larger chunks; palm sized. Larger amounts of pottery were found throughout the locus. Tree stumps continued to be exposed in the southeastern, as well as northwestern corners of this locus. Two pieces of plastic, as well as cleanly cut branches revealed this locus to be decontextualized. One fragment of slag was recovered in this locus.
