Underlies Locus 6, floor level soil deposit near corner of Southwest heart-shaped column.
Stage Description Installation of the South Corridor flooring.
Description This soil was distinguished from Locus 6 due to its more tightly packed feel and darker color, the Munsell of which was 10YR4/4, Dark Yellowish Brown. Although not excavated for a great depth, it appeared to have an artifactual content similar to that of Locus 6, namely containing a number of pieces of early Nabataean fine ware.
Top (m) Opening Elevation: Northwest, 0.30 m below Sub datum SP 93 C or 905.114 m, southeast, 0.50 m below Sub datum SP 93 C or 904.914 m.
Size 1.60 m north south length-by-2.20 m east west width-by-0.20 m northwest depth-by-0.05 m southeast depth (excavated).
Phase IV
Location Southwest of the Southwest heart-shaped column, extending up to the south and west faces of the Locus 8 platform.
