Size | Dimensions: 0.85 m (north-south)-x-3.23 m (east-west). |
Bottom (m) | Closing elevation: 908.326 m at center, 908.356 m at southwest, 908.456 m at southeast. |
Stage Description | Major collapse and accumulation of debris over the Central Arch cavity. Continued deposition of wind-blown fill beginning in Site Phase X. |
Description | This locus of 7.5YR 5/4 brown, fine, loose sand differed from the surrounding fill loci in its relative lack of large architectural debris. The deposit was of very fine soil and may have been deposited by wind over many years. The upper 0.5 m contains many micro strata and many centipede exoskeletons. These levels were not excavated separately because there was virtually no material culture contained in this area. |
Definition | Fill under Central Arch. |
