Description

Locus 6 is the 2x2m area directly north of the sounding. It consists of a dry, grey-brown yellowish soil. Rocks are mildly frequent and are about 5cm in size. There is a high concentration of roots. There is a stump in the southeastern corner of the locus and another stump in the northwest corner. A packing of stones can be discovered in the southeastern corner, there is one small one and one large one visible leading into the baulk wall. In the southwestern corner, there is a concentration of about 5-6 large stones about 15-20cm in size and another 5-6 small/medium sized stones about 10cm. This concentration in the southwestern corner leads from the baulk towards the north and into the second stump in the northwest corner of locus 6.
